Garcia Alicia Brown was born in Kingston, Jamaica and grew there until moving to the UK with her mother Alicia when she was just 3 years old. The young actress grew up in London with her mother until moving to Manchester, England half way through her childhood. Her mother noticed her daughter was very expressive and loved showcasing her art through talent shows and also putting on role plays for her family in their living room. She joined a weekend drama school at the age of 8 in Didsbury, Manchester. This was the beginning of her acting career.
